- We will have our midweek worship service in Fairbury this Wednesday at 7:30 pm instead of Forrest.
- Next Sunday, it is our turn for services in Heidelberg, ON, Canada. Bro. Arlen is planning to go.
- Next Sunday is also our turn for services at Fairview Haven. Please check the lists on the men's and women's bulletin boards for your turn; if you are unable to go on your Sunday, please find a replacement to help with singing and fellowship.
- Holy Communion will be held at Fairview Haven on Friday, May 2 at 1:30 pm in the Activity Room. Any brothers or sisters who missed Communion in Forrest last weekend are welcome to take part.
- In two weeks on May 4, it is Forrest's turn for services in Garden Grove, IA. Bro. Josh is planning to go.
- There is still plenty of room on the bus for anyone interested in attending Congerville for church and an evening meal on Sunday, May 4. This link can be used to sign up. Please contact Bro. Karl Edelman or Sis. Lori Ifft with any questions.
- The Apostolic Christian LifePoints Gospel Sing fundraiser is in two weeks, on Sunday, May 4, at Five Points in Washington. Doors open at 5:30 pm. More information is available on the LifePoints website. LifePoints also has a need for Physical Therapy Assistants. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Bro. - Everyone is invited to a presentation about the 2024 Northeastern Apostolic Christian Heritage Tour on Saturday, June 7, at 6:30 pm at the Fellowship Hall. The evening will begin with a singing before the presentation by Bro. Matthew Rassi.
- The prayer request page/email notification system is a good way to share news regarding the passing of a close family member of anyone in the Forrest church family. Please feel free to submit prayer requests to share the news and offer support.
- With the sanctuary project in progress, Sunday and Wednesday services at Forrest for the next few weeks will be in the Sunday School area, so please enter/exit through the east Sunday School entrance. There will be no Sunday School classes, and the services in Forrest will not be streamed or archived.
- Sis. Paula Kelson has been selected to serve as a Sunday School teacher.

- The Sunday School Easter program will be this Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Students should be in their classrooms at 7:00 pm, and families with children in Sunday School should bring two dozen cookies or bars.
- There will be a run-through of the storm preparedness plans at church this Thursday, April 17 at 7:00 pm. Anyone interested in learning more about the plans is welcome to attend. If you have any questions, please contact Bro. Joe Rudin.
- We will have a Good Friday service this Friday at 7:30 pm.
- In two weeks on April 27, it is our turn for services in Heidelberg, ON, Canada. Bro. Arlen is planning to go.
- There is a thank you note on the women's bulletin board from Clint Schaffer for his birthday cards.
- CVE in Magdalena is in the process of seeking and hiring a new administrator to succeed current administrator, Todd Stoller, as he and his family will transition off the mission field in July 2026. If you have interest in this role or would like more information about serving in this ministry in Magdalena, please see the current missionary opening posted on the HarvestCall website.
- There will be no Sunday School classes during the upcoming church project. We will plan to have our Sunday morning church service in the Sunday School area for those who are unable to travel.
- The Forrest congregation has been invited to Congerville for church and an evening meal on Sunday, May, so a bus trip has been planned. Anyone interested in participating or needing more information can use this link or contact Bro. Karl Edelman or Sis. Lori Ifft.
- The engagement of Sis. Mikayla Lanz to Bro. Liam Gehring from Bloomington was announced.

- Tomorrow is clothes sorting and comforter knotting at the HarvestCall Distribution Center beginning at 9:00 am.
- Bro. Marvin is planning to give a presentation on his and Sis. Nancy's Egypt trip this Thursday, April 10 at 7:00 pm at Northview Commons. All are welcome.
- Holy Communion will be this Saturday evening, April 12 at 7:00 pm. Elder Bros. Randy Beer and Rick Plattner plan to be with us. Converts are encouraged to attend and observe the Communion service.
- Next Sunday is our collection for HarvestCall. This includes our collection for the local work projects and the HarvestCall Distribution Center.
- The Sunday School Easter program will be on Wednesday, April 16 at 7:30 pm.
- The Forrest congregation is invited to Fairbury for church services on Wednesday, April 23.
- A paper sign up sheet for monthly volunteer opportunities at Fairview Haven has been under the women's bulletin board, but they have now switched to using SignUpGenius. - Annual church cleaning is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20. Please check the job lists under the bulletin boards for your assigned area as there have been several changes. If you have any questions, please contact Sisters Janet Schmidgall, Tiffany Schmidgall, or Jodi Slagel.
- There is a need for a sister to teach in Sunday School. After prayerful consideration, please bring a ballot next Sunday.

- Our Adult Bible Class for any non-members will be next Sunday at 10:00 am at Northview Commons.
- There is a thank-you note from the Fellowship Hall board posted on the women's bulletin board for everyone who helped with the cleaning on Monday. There is a table with lost-and-found items set up at Fairbury church.

- Fellowship Hall cleaning is tomorrow afternoon beginning at 3:00 pm. Please contact Bro. Ray Steidinger with any questions.
- Everyone is invited to an all-church singing this Saturday at 7:00 pm at church before Bro. Dave & Sis. Sherri's wedding.
- The church sanctuary project is rapidly approaching, and is planned to start on Monday, April 21. We encourage people to visit other congregations during the project as much as possible. We have services in Heidelberg, ON April 27 and in Garden Grove, IA May 4. For those who cannot travel, we plan to have morning church in the fellowship area, along with normal Sunday School for the Sundays during the project (April 27, May 4, and possibly May 11). There will be no lunch at church or afternoon service on those Sundays. We will have a normal or slightly shortened Wednesday evening service in the Sunday School area during the project (April 23 & 30, May 7, and possibly May 14).
