- Item donations are needed for Hospital Lumiere's virtual benefit auction planned for Thursday, November 6 through Saturday, November 8. Auction items should be delivered to Gridley by October 25. There will be a dinner and live auction on Friday, November 14 at The Water Tower in Gridley. - The Fairview Haven benefit dinner will be Friday, November 7 from 4:00-7:00 pm. An email was previously sent with links to sign up for food and volunteering. - Fairview Haven is looking for a volunteer coordinator. This is a part time position that is fairly flexible. If you are interested, please contact Bro. Dave Blunier.

- Tomorrow is clothes sorting and comforter knotting at the HarvestCall Distribution Center beginning at 9:00 am.
- There is an extra clothes sorting scheduled for Thursday from 6:30-8:00 pm. Contact Bro. Larry or Sis. Shirley Ifft with questions.
- Next Sunday will be a regular collection for HarvestCall. This includes our collection for the local work projects and the HarvestCall Distribution Center. Along with checks or cash, contributions may also be made on the church online giving page.
- Two talks on the final section of the updated Statement of Faith: The Role of the Church are planned for October 22 and 29.
- It's time to sign up for the 2026 all-church rotating potluck. Sign up is electronic this year. If you cannot sign up online, there will be paper forms available under the men's bulletin board. Those wishing to no longer participate should still complete a form indicating they are dropping out so the committee knows that this is not an oversight. Recently, the number of people unable to host has increased which causes some difficulty in creating the groups. We would encourage you to try hosting, but if you are unable, we would still like you to participate! Please complete the form by October 31 and contact Bro. Myron or Sis. Marcy Kaeb with questions.

- There is a pizza supper at 6:00 pm this Wednesday at church before the Scripture Memory Class begins for K-4th grade students. Please use this link to RSVP, sign up for helping in the kitchen, and help with food. Contact Bro. Reuben and Sis. Karla Kaeb with any questions.
- Our Adult Bible Class for any non-members will be next Sunday at 10:00 am at Northview Commons.
- There is an opportunity for 15 volunteers, 12 years and older, to help package turkeys at the HarvestCall Distribution Center on Saturday, October 11 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. If you are able to help, please sign up here or contact Bro. Karl or Sis. Bethany Edelman.
- Anyone who was unable to return a ballot for Sunday School teacher last week is encouraged to bring a ballot or otherwise share with Bro. Jason by next Sunday, Oct. 5. This is a serious responsibility, and all are encouraged to review the officeholder exhortation from 9/15/2024.

- The Rochester Guesthouse near Mayo Clinic is looking for a resident caretaker. If you are interested, or would like more information, please see the note on the men’s and women’s bulletin boards.
- Phil Hilti, son of Sis. Virginia Hilti, has repented, is at peace with God, and is now desiring baptism. Phil’s testimony and baptism are tentatively planned to follow the afternoon service on Sunday, November 2 at Fairview Haven to enable Sis. Virginia to witness them.

- The Single Group is hosting a singing for all those over 40 this Saturday at the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 pm.
- In two weeks on September 28, it is Forrest’s turn for services in Athens, AL. Bro. Paul is planning to go.
- Scripture Memory Class for K-4th grade students will begin on Wednesday, October 1. The evening will start with a pizza supper at 6:00 pm at church for all who wish to attend.
