• Tomorrow is clothes sorting and comforter knotting at the HarvestCall Distribution Center beginning at 9:00 am.
• Next Sunday will be a regular collection for HarvestCall. This includes our collection for the local work projects and the HarvestCall Distribution Center.
• There is an all-church potluck and singing planned for Sunday, October 20. Signup sheets are under the women's bulletin board for anyone planning to help or attend.
• It is time to sign up for the 2025 all-church rotating potluck. Anyone interested should fill out a new sign-up form, located under either bulletin board or on our church website. Those wishing to no longer participate should still complete a form indicating they would like to drop out, so the coordinators know that it is not an oversight. • The Silver Lining periodically features articles selected from readers' submissions. The January 2025 topic is: "How has God blessed you through working everyday miracles in your own and/or others' lives (Acts 2:22)?" Please send questions or your contributions (600 words or less) on this topic to features@acsilverlining.org by November 15. More details are on the women's bulletin board.
• Bro. Waylon Knapp has been selected to serve as a Sunday School teacher.

• There is a pizza supper at 6:00 pm this Wednesday at church before the Scripture Memory Class begins for K-4th grade students. To RSVP and sign up for helping in the kitchen or bring food, please use this link or contact Sis. Karla Kaeb.
• The Single Group is hosting a singing for everyone 40 and over this Saturday at 6:30 pm at the Fellowship Hall. If there are children living at home, they are welcome to attend.
• There is an opportunity for 20 volunteers, 12 years and older, to help package turkeys at the HarvestCall Distribution Center on Saturday, October 12 from 9:00-11:30am. If you are able to help, please sign up here or contact Bro. Karl or Sis. Bethany Edelman.
• To help Bro. Jason manage his time more effectively, please send all announcement requests to announcements@forrestacchurch.org by noon on Fridays. • A lot of pertinent information goes out with our emailed announcements, and this email list is maintained separately from the church directory. • There will be a meeting after church on November 3 to share progress and next steps for the sanctuary project.

• Anyone who could not return Sunday School teacher ballots today should get them to Bro. Jason by Wednesday evening.
• Registration for the 2024 Apologetics Conference on Saturday, November 9 in Smithville, OH is now open to anyone who is interested in attending. Registration is required and can be done on the ETR website.
• The Single Group is hosting a singing for all those 40 and over on Saturday, October 5 at the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 pm. If there are children living at home, they would also be welcome to attend.

• Based on discussions at the Kitchen Committee meeting this past Thursday, updates have been made to the Kitchen Job description document and notes have been added to the agenda. These updated documents are attached to the emailed announcements. If you cannot receive them by email, please see Sis. Kathy Banwart, Sis. Barb Edelman, or Sis. Lori Ifft.
• Next Sunday is our turn for services at Fairview Haven. Please check the lists on the men's and women's bulletin boards for your turn; if you are unable to go on your Sunday, please find a replacement to help with singing and fellowship.
• Please bring a ballot next Sunday for a brother to teach in Sunday School. If you are unable to bring a ballot on Sunday, please send a ballot to Bro. Jason by September 25. The brothers who are currently teaching are listed in the church directory. All are encouraged to listen to the exhortation during today's afternoon church service.
• Invite-a-guest potluck for groups C and D is planned for September 29. Sign-up sheets are under the women's bulletin board.
• Lord willing, Scripture Memory Class for K-4th grade students will begin on Wednesday, October 2. There is a pizza supper planned before church that evening. Please click here to RSVP and sign up for the pizza supper. A letter with more information is included with the emailed announcements.

• A meeting for all sisters and friends capable of helping in the kitchen is scheduled for this Thursday at 6:45 pm in the church dining room. The Kitchen Committee plans to cover Sunday kitchen help job descriptions and a few other topics. Paper copies of the agenda and job descriptions will be distributed at the meeting and emailed with the announcements. If you have any questions or need a paper copy in advance, please contact Sis. • Our Adult Bible Class for any non-members will be meeting on both the first and third Sundays for September through December. Next Sunday will be the second September class at 10:00 am at Northview Commons. Please see the church calendar for the current schedule.
