• The first Men's Brotherhood evening is this Thursday, beginning at 6:45 pm at the Fellowship Hall.
• The Forrest congregation is invited to a singing at Gridley church next Sunday at 6:30 pm.
• A letter from elder Bro. Tom Klotzle is posted on the HarvestCall bulletin board with an update about the wildfires near Altadena, California. While much of the area around the church has burned, the church building still stands unharmed. They are requesting prayers as they decide how best to help their hurting community. To help with material needs, donations may be sent to HarvestCall noted for "Altadena".

• This Wednesday evening, Bro. Jason will share a few thoughts from the elder forums this past week.
• There will be provings this Saturday beginning at 7:00 pm for Mila Zimmerman and Mikayla Lanz. Elder Brothers Curt Frank from Lacrosse, IN and Rick Plattner are planning to be with us.
• There will be an all-church supper at the Fellowship Hall next Sunday evening after the baptisms, starting at 4:30 pm with a 6:15 pm singing. Please sign up for food using this link. Questions may be directed to Sis. Krystle Leman or Sis. Teresa Bachtold.
• Next Sunday is our Alms Fund collection.

• Onward Media is seeking volunteers to help complete the Sunday School curriculum update project. There is more information posted on the bulletin boards or at this link. If you would like to volunteer, please sign up via the website by January 19.

• We will have a New Year's Day service at 10:00 am Wednesday morning, instead of our usual Wednesday evening service.
• The Adult Bible Class for any non-members will resume meeting once per month on the first Sunday of each month at 10:00 am at Northview Commons. Please share with anyone who may be interested, and contact Bros. Dan Eisenmann, Kevin Schaffer, or Adam Zimmerman with any questions.
• The annual business meeting agenda, open positions, and other materials are available on the church website. The meeting will be at 7:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2025 in the church Sunday School room. Last year's meeting minutes will not be provided at the meeting. • The ministers will be going through the updated Statement of Faith in two or three sections this year. The first section will be Wednesday evenings from February 19 to March 5. Bro. Ted will also be facilitating discussion on the Statement of Faith in the church WhatsApp group that was previously used for the all-church reading plans. To join the group, contact Bro. Ted Bachtold or Bro. Jeremy Leman.
• Periodically, the Forrest ministers will also address relevant and timely topics in a series entitled "Modern Influences on the Believer's Life." On Wednesday evening, January 29, Bro. Arlen will discuss "Modern Influences: Sports."
• Bro. Jason appreciates your prayers as he goes to the Elder Forum this week.
• We are thankful to have Bro. Tyler and Sis. Ruth Edelman rejoining our Forrest church family as they have moved back from Bastrop, Texas.

• The engagement of Sis. Sherri Schlatter to Bro. Dave Graf from Akron, OH was announced.

• We will have a Christmas Day service at 10:00 am Wednesday morning, instead of our usual Wednesday evening service. We will have the Christmas songbooks available for our Christmas Day service.
• It is our turn for services at Fairview Haven again next Sunday. Please check the lists on men's and women's bulletin boards for your turn; if you are unable to go on your Sunday, please find a replacement to help with singing and fellowship.
• There will be an all-church supper and singing at the Fellowship Hall after the baptisms on January 12. This will be a meal with a planned menu. Please sign up on the sheets under the women's bulletin board by January 1 so the committee can get an accurate number for food planning. A sign up for food will be sent later.
