• There will be no church service on Wednesday evening due to Thanksgiving Day service, which will be at 10:00 am Thursday.
• It is our turn for services at Fairview Haven again next Sunday. Please check the lists on the men's and women's bulletin boards for your turn; if you are unable to go on your Sunday, please find a replacement to help with singing and fellowship.
• There are many opportunities to volunteer at Fairview Haven in December, including the resident/staff Christmas meal and shopping with residents within the first week. Contact Sis. Barb Edelman or Sis. Hannah Leman with any questions.
• There are signup sheets under the women’s bulletin board for all who plan to attend the all-church chili supper and farewell singing on December 7.
• In two weeks on December 7, it is Forrest’s turn for services in Heidelberg, ON, Canada. Bro. Arlen plans to go.
• Our annual collection for local food pantries is Saturday, December 13. Along with the food pantries collection, there will be a blanket drive for patients (ages 18 mo - 18 yrs) at the Children’s Hospital in Peoria. Please contact Sis. Rhonda Rudin with any questions about the blankets.
• The online church calendar is an important resource for church activities and will have SignUpGenius links and other information added to the calendar events regularly. • The HarvestCall winter work project will be rebuilding and repairing homes in Acadia Parish, LA. Forty volunteers are needed each week between January 11 and March 27, 2026. Online registration begins at noon Central Time this Wednesday on the HarvestCall website.
• Help is still needed for the yard clean up and leaf raking planned for this Saturday, November 22. Please use Signup Genius link to sign up or contact Bro. Jared Knapp or Bro. Benton Kaeb.

• HarvestCall’s benefit auction for Hospital Lumiere is planned for this Friday at The Water Tower in Gridley. The meal begins at 4:00 pm, and the live auction begins at 6:00 pm. This annual benefit is a critical part of Hospital Lumiere's support. Please contact Bro. Matt or Sis. Jessica Edwards with questions.
• The Fall Memorandum will be read this Saturday beginning at 7:00 pm in Fairbury. The Memorandum is a primary way for the elder body to share timely and relevant topics and messages with the church. Please be prayerful that the communication will be Biblical, clear, and meaningful. Elder Bro. Rod Bajema from Lester, IA plans to be with us.

• The Fairview Haven benefit dinner is this Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. The online auction begins tomorrow and closes Thursday evening at 8:00 pm.
• Fairview Haven is looking for a volunteer coordinator. This is a part time position that is fairly flexible. If you are interested, please contact Bro. Dave Blunier.
• The November Women’s Outreach “Valuable” is this Thursday at 6:45 pm at the Fellowship Hall. This is open to all couples and singles over 18. Please use this link to RSVP.
• Next Sunday will be our collection for Haiti/Lifeline. These funds are primarily used for a children’s feeding program, and to operate the school and medical clinic. Along with checks or cash, contributions may also be made on the church online giving page.

• Please submit any topics for the annual business meeting to Bro. Troy Lanz or Bro. Jason by November 30. Action will only be taken at the meeting for agenda items that are distributed in advance. We need to approve an updated church constitution and bylaws at the annual meeting, which requires support of at least ⅔ of the total membership. To enable this, we will use an absentee ballot process in December for any members not able to attend the annual meeting.
